During your stay you are free to stroll the immaculate lawns, stretching lazily down to the water edge, with views over the nearby marina, soak up the sun on the swimming pool terraces, or play croquet or tennis in the shade of tall and stately pines. If you want a rest from the cooking, the stylish Waterford Restaurant provides formal dining, in the traditional setting of the Manor House. The indoor leisure centre is just as impressive, with a large swimming pool, whirlpool spa, sauna, steam room and solarium, snooker, table tennis and a state of the art gym, or perhaps you'd like to pamper yourself in the Health & Beauty Spa.
Standing on the edge of the New Forest, Macdonald Elmers Court Country Club is a magnificent country estate with immaculate lawns and gardens surrounding a Tudor style manor house. The resort enjoys stunning views over the Solent, and is just a short distance from the marina town of Lymington with its ferry service to the Isle of Wight. Nearby attractions include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard, Marwell Animal Park, and Portsmouth & Southampton shopping districts.
Wild ponies and deer roam in secluded glades and track ways, yet Elmers Court is less than two hours away from London, and easily accessible from Wales and the West.
The New Forest is situated in the south of England. A superb family holiday destination that is topped by Salisbury and Stonehenge, flanked by the sea faring cities of Portsmouth, Southampton and the town of Poole. The New Forest extends to the south coast and the Isle Of Wight, yet close to the beaches of Bournemouth. It is an outstanding recreational area for walking and riding. All of this is a short stroll from the Isle of Wight ferry terminal and a few minutes more to the cobbled streets of Lymington. Driving a little further brings you to Bournemouth, Poole Harbour, Swanage and Studland Bay.
