This charming cottage has been converted from an old farm building and retains much of its old character with exposed beams throughout. Enjoying a very peaceful position, adjacent to the owners’ house, the cottage is surrounded by open farmland over which there are superb, extensive views. Very comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated the cottage provides spacious accommodation with just one small internal step, making it ideal for those with limited mobility.
All on the ground floor-2 bedrooms – 1 double and 1 twin, spacious lounge with separate dining area and sofa bed, fitted kitchen, bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, toilet and basin. Electric fire in lounge, underfloor heating throughout, electric heated towel rail in bathroom – all fuel and power is included in the rent. Travel cot, colour T.V., DVD player, microwave, shaver point, shower. Bed linen and towels are included. Patio and garden with furniture. Ample parking.
Set in the Howardian Hills and very close to Castle Howard, feathered in Brideshead revisited this is a perfect place to explore the vale of York and East Coast. There are plenty of excellent country walks throughout the area with the hills and moors of North Yorkshire just a short drive away. An ideal area for cycling or a day at York races.
