Squirrels Acres Cottage at Ruswarp, near Whitby, North Yorkshire is a semi detached cottage within a wood setting a short drive from Whitby on the North East coast. This two bedroom property is able to accommodate three guests in one double bedroom & one single bedroom.   The bathroom has a washbasin and separate shower (no bath).

The property is modern, comfortable and traditionally furnished, with views from the decked veranda of woodland and wildlife. Accommodation includes a furnished lounge with wood burning stove (wood provided), freeview television, music centre, radio, dvd player, vcr player. An open plan, equipped kitchen including cooker, fridge/freezer, iron/ironing board, microwave and washing machine. There are two bedrooms, one double and one single. Shower room with a toilet and basin. 

Please be advised the stairs leading up to the property are unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties, and there are a flight of stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Shallow concrete steps lead up to the property. A wooden staircase (10 steps) leads up to a spacious sun deck overlooking the garden and the woods. There is private parking in the grounds. One large dog or two small dogs are welcome.

Squirrels Acres Cottage near Whitby is situated in the middle of a wood in the peace and quiet of the countryside, but still only a few minutes drive from Whitby with all its amenities.

Whitby has a large harbour, which contains its local fishing fleet, a yachting marina and a wharf for commercial shipping. At any time the harbour is full of activity and interest. Whitby's amenities include; fishing, sailing, floral pavilion, mini golf, bowling, golf, tennis courts, indoor heated swimming pool, boating, museums and art galleries.

This property makes an ideal base for a quiet holiday or for exploring the nearby coast, North Yorkshire moors or Heartbeat country. A car is essential to fully explore all this lovely area of North Yorkshire.
