Accommodation: On the ground floor is an entrance porch with storage for outdoor wear. Comfortably furnished lounge with an open fire, television, dvd, vcr, cd and radio and a door leading to the conservatory. The conservatory offers splendid views of the surrounding countryside. Utility room. Well-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with beamed ceilings and stunning views, a double bedroom and a single bedroom, there is also a fold-away bed, suitable for a child. Three piece bathroom with shower-over the bath and heated towel rail.
On site is an enclosed grassed garden leading to the river, a patio with patio furniture and ample parking. Two well behaved pets are most welcome at Prospect Farm Cottage.
Prospect Farm Cottage in Appletreewick, North Yorkshire is an ideal rural base located in an excellent walking and cycling area, with the Dales Way close by.
There are two pubs in the village of Appletreewick and many villages and towns within an easy drive. The villages of Burnsall, Kettlewell and Grassington can all be found nearby, with pubs, restaurants and an interesting variety of shops. Beautiful Bolton Abbey is also well worth a visit with walks, a picnic area and café by the river and abbey ruins to explore.
The historic market town of Skipton is a twenty minute drive away, with its mediaeval castle, excellent range of shops, pubs and restaurants, supermarkets, indoor swimming pool, cinema and an open-air market, which takes place four days a week. A car is essential at this property for full exploration of this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales.
