Booths Brow Barn at Ashton-In-Makerfield, Lancashire is a barn development, dating from 1759, with a charming cobbled courtyard. This fully equipped, three bedroom property is able to accommodate up to five guests.
Accommodation: Larger upstairs than downstairs. Downstairs is the fully equipped kitchen/diner, utility room and bathroom with overhead shower. Upstairs is a large comfortably furnished lounge with freeview television, dvd player and vcr player. Two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a wc. The property has traditional and comfortable furnishings.
There is a private seating area outside the Barn for guests, who have access to the gardens round the house as desired. Guests are also welcome to use the table tennis and pool table in the adjoining building. Garden table and chairs are provided and a gas barbeque is also available.
Booths Brow Farm is located on the edge of Ashton-In-Makerfield, Lancashire overlooking farmland in a quiet location. No longer a working farm, ponies and hens can still be found in the field. Booths Brow Barn is attached to the main building. The property enjoys views of the courtyard and gardens and over farmland towards Billinge and Winter Hill.
The property is close to the M6, the M62 and the East Lancashire road, which give good access to Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales, The Lancashire Coast, The Peak District and the Pennines. The Lake District and Yorkshire are also within driving distance.
The immediate area has a range of local shops and amenities and Wigan is only 3km away for larger shops, cinema, local theatre, etc.
A car is essential to fully explore the area.
