Each lodge at Langdale, Cumbria is ideally positioned for view and privacy. There are four different styles of lodges, sleeping from four to eight guests and include the three bedroomed Ullswater lodges, two bedroomed Windermere and Coniston lodges and Grasmere lodges with one twin bedroom. All are luxuriously furnished and fully equipped. In the two and three bedroom lodges, you can relax in your own whirlpool bath or Scandinavian pine sauna. Enjoy breakfast on your private terrace. And when you return from a day's fell walking, the drying cupboard comes into its own! Entertainment is provided in the form of satellite TV, vcr players and stereo hi-fi systems. Langdale Lodges are part of the Langdale Estate, which offers guests numerous on site facilities including restaurants, bars, a traditional Lake District Pub plus extensive Leisure and Spa Facilities. The exclusive Spa's central feature is the 20m indoor pool, with bubble massage seat, dedicated swimming lane, spa bath and fully equipped exercise studio. The Lake District Spa offers a full range of treatments for head-to-toe pampering. Purdey's restaurant has recently been awarded an AA Rosette for the quality of the food and service. Guests are assured of a warm welcome and friendly service on the award-winning Langdale Estate. The superior holiday lodges at Langdale, at the very centre of England's beautiful Lake District National Park, is a perfect resort. The 35-acre Langdale Estate set in heart of the English Lake District is a natural woodland haven with streams and tarns, dotted with massive millstones and other carefully preserved reminders of its history as a 19th century gunpowder works. Utility fee to pay direct to resort at checkout calculated by meter reading. Guests have full use of the Langdale Leisure facilities on the Estate including the heated indoor swimming pool and gym. Towels are available to hire for use in the pool etc. or feel free to bring your own from home. The exercise studio classes, tennis court Brimstone Spa access and therapies are also available– although their use will incur extra charges. Stove Restaurant & Wainwrights Inn are your dining options. Please note that the Chapel Stile Apartments are adjacent to the country pub, Wainwrights Inn.
