Resort overview
Glenwood Lodge compromises of an open plan living area, two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The lounge is tastefully furnished with two leather sofas, coffee table, small sideboard, floor lights and a feature electric fire. The dining area can seat four and has patio doors leading on to the south facing decked area. The kitchen is fully equipped with double eye level oven, 5 ring hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. The master bedroom has a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom has twin beds. The family bathroom is complete with a shower bath and screen, razor point and heated towel rail. Glenwood Lodge is located in the 5 star Limefitt Park,situated in the stunning Troutbeck Valley, near Windermere. On the West side of the valley is Wansfell Pike and on the East are the peaks of Yoke, Ill Bell, Froswick and High street. As well as the peak walks there are many easy walks and village walks straight from the site without the need for a car. Although in the countryside Windermere and Ambleside is only approximately 15mins drive away, with the centres of Bowness, Hawkeshead and Grasmere only a short drive away offering a wide range of shops, cafés, restaurants and attractions.
