Peacefully set in picturesque Baldersdale, this former chapel has been restored and equipped to E.T.C. 4 Star standard, retaining its arched windows and exuding charm and character. With stunning views over open moorland, it enjoys its own furnished patio and is a cosy retreat year round.

The Old Chapel is located in Baldersdale, County Durham. Nearby can be found excellent walks within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the Pennine Way winding close by. Hannah Hauxwell's isolated farmhouse (featured on TV's Season of My Life) lies nearby. Historic Barnard Castle, 6 miles away, boasts an array of shops, inns, restaurants, a splendid Norman Castle and the famous Bowes Museum. The Metro Centre and Beamish are an hour away. The Lake District is within driving distance. Fishing and riding can both be found locally. A car is essential to fully appreciate this area of County Durham.
