Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa
Resort overview
Our unique resort is set on 70 acres of beautiful parkland, overlooking the stunning vista of Rutland Water, the largest man-made area of surface water in the UK. We offer plenty to do on-site with our Pitch & Putt Green, a crazy golf course, gym, and squash court. Our swimming pool is temporarily closed while improvements and refurbishments take place. Our new Four Roots Spa is opening soon and will offer a curated four-hour wellness experience. We are fortunate to be located in the heart of Rutland, the UK’s smallest county. Local attractions offer the opportunity to experience the 11th-century Belvoir Castle & Engine Yard, the ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland for nearly 1,000 years, or visit the nearby historic market towns of Oakham & Uppingham. If you are drawn to the water, you can enjoy a trip on the Rutland Belle, or indulge in some sailing, paddleboarding, fishing, and more.
Rutland is an idyllic rural destination offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. While being a relatively hidden gem, Rutland remains one of the most charming, proud and attractive rural counties in England. Quietly nestling in the quiet English countryside, come and discover the delights of this special place; where you will receive a warm welcome and be enchanted by a decidedly English way of life. Rutland offers a taste of traditional England, undiscovered by many and treasured by a lucky few. Rutland Water, the internationally famous nature reserve, provides one of the most important wildfowl sanctuaries in Great Britain, regularly holding in excess of 20,000 waterfowl.
