The Nook is a newly-built, self-contained annexe, completed in 2016 and finished to a high quality standard, using calm colours and natural finishes. Cook, eat, and relax in the stunning and spacious double-height living room/kitchen with vaulted ceiling. Ideal for 2 guests, with a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom, but can accommodate up to 4 , as there is a comfortable double sofabed. The Nook is located in the popular and peaceful village of Comberton, just 5 miles south of Cambridge. Comberton has a grocery store, post office, village pub, butcher, dentist and hairdresser all within a 2 minute walk. The bus stop for buses to Cambridge is 1 minute walk away. Cambridge Market is a food-lover's paradise. The village also has a surgery, campsite and leisure centre (host to a thriving monthly comedy club). There are many pubs serving great food in local villages, we provide details and recommendations in our Guest Information book. Nearby Barton has a delicatessen, café and numerous independent shops at Burwash Manor, an organic working farm.
