Disentis is located in the Upper Rhine valley, with it's scenic beauty, diverse nature and culture. The many opportunities for sports and recreation make Disentis an all round attractive holiday region for all. Many activites available include the famous Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn railway which gives a truly dazzling view of the alps. You can also try your luck at panning for gold in the Rhine, even more fun with a campfire and a lot of fun on the water. Or take a trip up to Lake Toma, where the Rhine begins it's journey from its source and travels 1,324 miles before emptying in Rotterdam into the sea. The Rhine Gorge with the raging river, the steep white cliffs and lush forests is one of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps. Disentis is also an ideal holiday location for families with children. This is due to the pristine nature, super infrastructure and a rich entertainment program in the summer and a diverse range of winter activities. Deep snow, trails and slopes are waiting in their entire splendor for skiers, snowboarders, cross country skiers, snowshoers and sledders. On the mountain slopes of Disentis-Sedrun-Andermatt winter sports are available on a total of 200 km of tracks and fun parks. And if the weather should become unfavourable, then visit the Sedrun spa "Bogn Sedrun" and forget the bad weather. The water park offers plenty of room for swimming, a flowing Wildwater for fun and for recreation a waterfall, spa, massage stations and much more. Alternatively visit the monastery Disentis with the oldest school in Graubünden and the museum. One of the most valuable collections of minerals Switzerland you can see within the museum. The apartments are located just above Acletta Disentis, very close to the cable car for access to the runs. The quiet location with wonderful views creates optimal conditions for a great holiday. The apartment offers all the amenities that you need for a relaxing and happy holiday in Disentis. In the apartment block there is a small indoor pool, sauna and table tennis. A children's ski school is right by the house.
