Resort overview
Overlooking Rock Glen Falls, this friendly year-round member-only resort, which is affiliated with the best camping program in the country called Resorts of Distinction (ROD), offers first-rate camping facilities and spectacular surroundings, spacious sites and scheduled activities to pique every interest. Visitors can choose from more than 100 camping sites that can accommodate up to a large motorhome. For those who don't have their own camping gear, Rock Glen offers four unique cabin types to accommodate up to four, six or seven guests. All cabins are equipped with place settings appropriate for the number of guests, dinnerware, glasses, pots and pans, a can opener, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, barbecue, TV and a three-piece bath. There are also a number of on-site amenities to keep you busy such as mini golf, a splash pad, swimming pools and a fitness gym. River access is nearby offering great hiking, biking and water activity opportunities. For golfers, Arkona is well known far and wide as the home of the Arkona Fairways Golf Course. Rolling hills and top quality greens will guarantee that you and your group will have a terrific day on the links. Literally across the road from Rock Glen Family Resort, you can spend hours basking in Mother Nature's Wonder, Rockglen Falls. The area is home to one of the largest fossil deposits in North America. Do some local shopping in the shops around the area. One of the wonders of the world, the Great Lakes are only a few miles away! Explore the beaches of Lake Huron and be dazzled by spectacular sunsets that only Lake Huron can provide. Rock Glen has been in business over 35 years, specializing in family recreation. Please contact resort immediately upon confirming booking to arrange bedding configurations and linen rentals for their reservation. Please note that Rock Glen Family Resort accommodations are not typical timeshare resort accommodations. Units are individual cabins, each with a unique layout and features that provide a more rustic experience than a resort. For complete pictures and information on each cabin, please refer to the resort website before booking to decide if these accommodations will be suitable for you and your guests. There will be a $250.00 USD security deposit which will be refunded once housekeeping inspects the cabin for excessive mess or damages. Rates may change with or without notice based on the discretion of the resort. Please be advised that you will need to bring the following: Bed Sheets, blankets**, pillows**, Towels & Washcloths, Toiletries, Dish Cloths and Towels. **If you are unable to bring these items, we do have the sheets and pillows available to rent.
