Be sure to visit a hidden treasure tucked away along the Sooke River, the Sooke Pothole Provincial Park is home to cavernous polished rock pools and beautiful nature trails that can accommodate any skill level. This park is also a spectacular place to view the annual salmon spawning run from mid-October to late December.
East Sooke Regional Park contains over 50km of trails, pocket beaches, rocky bays, and tide pools, dark rainforests and dry hilltops to explore as well as spectacular views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains.
Botanical Beach is located just 1 ½ hours from Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina in the Juan de Fuca Provincial park. This beach provides rich tide pools that offer a shoreline full of aquatic life and fascinating geological features that are sure to impress any visitor.
