Resort overview

Tamarind Sands is in the township of Bogangar on the northern New South Wales Coast, minutes from the legendary swimming and surfing beaches of Cabarita.

The resort is set on lush tropical grounds and features a choice of 48 units in different configurations on three levels. Return from the beach and plunge into the refreshing swimming pool and spa. Play a round of minigolf or a few sets of tennis. Check out the games room, kids' playroom and playground, and the BBQ areas. Kick-off your day with our famous Holiday Concepts Pancake Breakfast! Beachside cafés, breakfast bars and speciality shops all vie for your attention. 

You're only twenty minutes from the Gold Coast and an hour from major theme parks. You'll have a nature reserve to the north and the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east, just 20 kilometres south of Tweed Heads and about 45 minutes from iconic Byron Bay, considered by many to be a must-do. Rainforest-clad mountains, plains, 37 kilometres of natural coastline, wetlands, estuarine forests, lush pastoral farmland and three world-heritage listed national parks are to be found in the Tweed Valley, part of the largest caldera in the southern hemisphere. Beaches abound. Kingscliff, Dreamtime and Fingal to the north. Pottsville to the south. Cabba, as the locals call it, is renowned for fabulous surfing conditions all year round!
