Moorings Phase III
Resort overview
The Moorings Resort is just four and a half hours south of Sydney and about two hours east of Canberra on the gorgeous Tomago River at Tomakin. This riverside paradise is perfect for anglers, beach lovers and water-sport enthusiasts. Hire a boat or grab a paddle and get out on the water in a canoe. Thumb your nose at the weather beside the indoor pool. Serve a couple of aces on the tennis courts. Let the kids loose in the playground or find a peaceful sanctuary in the adult lounge.
Your tastefully-appointed modern accommodation includes a fully kitted-out kitchen, complete with cook top and a washer and dryer. WiFi is available at a cost of $10 per unit per week.
Tackle up. The South Coast estuaries are known for fine catches of flathead, bream and whiting. The beaches boast big salmon, tailor and bream. Arrange an off-shore fishing charter and realise your dream of chasing kingfish and other big game fish. If you're a landlubber, get into the saddle and explore the area on horseback, but make sure you get back in time to try your hand at belly dancing!
There are plenty of fabulous attractions and activities nearby, so it's best to bring a car. There's a general store, sports and social clubs close by, and great restaurants, shopping and local arts and crafts at Batemans Bay, just a 20-minute drive away. Don't forget to visit the lions and other residents at the Mogo Zoo and Animal Sanctuary.
Come make great family memories at the Moorings.
