Shop, play and sip your way through Indiana, one of the highlights of the Midwest.

Steeped in tradition, you’ll find a slower pace of life in this midwestern state, but its list of attractions is no less impressive. Forests, hills and caves dot the countryside, while the famed Heritage Trail offers an exploration of the quaint towns and Amish Country that have put the region on the map.

The capital, Indianapolis, is home to the famous speedway which hosts the Indianapolis 500, or Indy 500, on Memorial Day weekend each May. Off the track you’ll also find a taste of culture and history with museums, great food and wine and plenty of attractions the whole family can enjoy.

On the nature trail, Indiana abounds, with must-visit areas including Brown County State Park – an hour outside Indianapolis – for its horse riding, walking and bike trails across the sloping and rolling hills. Further afield, explore the expansive Hoosier National Forest or head north for the shores of Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, offering ample opportunities for fun throughout with beaches and dunes, enchanting wetlands full of birds, hiking trails, river bends and captivating forests.
